New Shoes!

So as you all know I live in Portland Oregon, and as you may have picked up on I'm in college right now. So I go to Portland State University which is on the West side of the river(the Willamette) however I live on the East side. Ha! how elitist and New Yorker did that sound!? But I promise you my lower east side neighborhood is nothing like their lower east side! Anyways the point is I have to go back and forth across the river fairly often9which isn't hard in this city of bridges) and to save money on parking i often times use our fabulous bus system to get to school, this adds a bit of walking and hanging out in the weather time to my day and its made me realize that I really only invest in my heels(not always ideal for walking around all day everyday) and that all my neglected flat boots are no longer waterproof so if I dont wear heels I have soaking wet feet all day which pretty much just sucks. :( SOOOOOO I decided to treat myself to a pair of new legitimate flat boots and then DSW sent me a coupon and then another deal and free shipping to boot so it became the same price to buy two pairs of boots instead of one. Basically I think the universe was trying to tell me something so I got two cute and very different pairs that will hopefully hold up to my walking habit! Aren't they so cute? I love the angled zipper with the peek of salmony pink leather underneath! 

The tall brown ones are Steve Madden and the short black ones are Mix No. 6(a brand that I had actually never heard of before seeing these shoes but I like them now cause these are cute, comfy, and feel pretty durable!
