Sharpie Mugs.

Now I'm sure many of you have seen this picture floating around the blogasphere lately and have wondered if it worked or not? 

I've definitely seen a lot of mixed reviews about the process from people saying it didn't work at all and people saying it worked great. So I just decided I'd try it my darned self and see how it ended up! So I got myself to the dollar tree down the street and picked myself up a couple of:
 plain white mugs and 
a plain everyday sharpie in a purply brown color 
baked it at 350 degrees 
for 30 minutes 
then took it out and let it cool on a wire rack and it worked perfectly. 
I did this last week and have washed it a couple of time since to make sure it really did work before I wrote this little post and I'm happy to say it did! I do wish I had paid a little more attention when I was writing on mine because it isn't terribly lovely but thats because I was so sure that the sharpie wasn't going to stick that I just wrote it quickly!
