Today I started my day with dill and goat cheese scrambled eggs with french bread, yum! and I've now ended my night with honey soy sauce grilled chicken with wild rice and roasted beats and sweet potatoes, followed up with a dish of my blueberry crisp and vanilla ice cream, double yum! and in the middle I munched fresh picked blueberries and drank a caramel machiatto. A lovely food day all around! Om nom nom. When I wasn't busy eating I signed as a witness on a Will(that was a first!) and did some errands before coming back to the farm with my aunt to help her plant in her lovely garden. Her and my grandmother are putting together a memorial garden for lost pets and loved ones but have been stalled in completing it of late from a lack of time. But we got everything back on track today and planted six roses, six of one type of bush and five of another type(can't you tell I'm highly knowledgable about gardening! 'one type of bush' lol) And on our errands we picked up a lovely garden bench with arch to round it all out. The new plants were not for anyone's memorial but on top of what was already plant in memory of someone to round the garden out. Up til now there is a Ginko tree for my grandpa, two different roses for two much loved dogs; Legend and Sadie, a dog wood tree for a beloved co-worker, and a crab apple tree for a family friend. All in all its shaping up into a gorgeous garden. I'm not real big on the gardening thing, I mean there pretty and I find well done ones very impressive but there not the kind of thing I like to use up my time with but today was fun, and now of course I've got a pit of a sunburn on my neck. These pictures are from other part of my aunts garden. She is way into gardening and has an amazing eye for it, there expansive and lovely.
